"Art does not reproduce the visible, but makes it visible." (Paul Klee). I picked up a stack of very nice art books that were on sale at the local book store; van Gogh, Klee, Klimt, etc. Excellent reproductions and insightful tests. It will be a joy to read and analyze over the summer. Tried my hand at a charcoal study. The paper was a mistake (too rough) but one learns by making mistakes ...
