Despite the grief and horror, we must not let fear rule.  It would be to give in to terrorism, and their trail of atrocities in the Middle East, Madrid, London, Mumbai, NewYork and now (again) in Paris. They attacked us all - our values and way of life - even our pleasures. They targeted sports  fans, music fans, and ordinary bistro visitors - places and sources of joy for so many. - to instill fear. Let's not give them that.

It's an intriguing thought, and generates interesting questions:

- which inner rooms we leave empty and unknowingly closed?

- which voids do we miss to see?

- what parts of life do we fail to grasp?

and

what is needed for us to find them and see them?
